A stay in a yurt is not like your average hotel room, and fortunately, the yurts in Texas are some of the country’s very best.

Nomadic peoples in Central Asia started using yurts around 600 BCE as shelters against harsh elements.  Nowadays, these circular tents have found their place across the world as one of the most popular glamping options. And throughout Texas, you’ll find plenty of options for yurt rentals that keep you as immersed — or as removed — from nature as you’d like. But no matter which you pick, you’re guaranteed a unique getaway.

From a swanky stay in the middle of the desert to an attractive spot on top of the Hill Country, these yurts in Texas allow you to have easy access to the outdoors without any of the roughing it.
