But you might be surprised to find that the state, especially in and around the Blue Ridge Mountains, has a huge variety of terrain. And it’s not all southern plantation homes — there are plenty of secluded cabins in Georgia, too.

In Georgia’s slice of the Appalachian Mountains, you’ll find rugged woodlands, waterfalls, wildlife, and wildflowers in abundance. From scenic creekside cabins to historic log homes in the hills, these ten secluded hideaways offer a place to unplug and unwind.
